I would like to introduce myself. I'm a lesbian, woman of color, feminist, activist, Christian, who decided to read the Bible. Now, I understand that many people read the Bible, but also many people do not. Most people spend their lives quoting popular verses that they heard spewed at them during a Sunday service without any in-depth explanation of the this what could possibly be the hardest book to interpret ever. Because of my identity I have a lot of questions about the Bible.

I am by no means a writer, I loath writing essays, papers, articles and anything else that may involve thought. So therefore if you are looking for scholarly insight, you've turned to the wrong place. I am merely just jotting down my thoughts and questions as I read through the "Good Book" and offering my personal interpretation on what I believe I am reading. I also have horrible grammar.

Lets make things clear. I am a Christian and I do identify as a Lesbian. I believe that God loves me no matter who I am. I do not believe that an HUMAN on this Earth has the right to tell me how to live my personal journey of faith, so you can keep your negative thoughts and comments to yourself. If you think you are above God then by all means, tell me I'm going to Hell, but I'm sure God doesn't want you stepping on his toes.

Outside of my crazy though process I'm a normal everyday individual. I enjoy couponing, volunteering and facebook.

Glad to have you along for this journey.
